As a practice we provide 2 kinds of registrations:
1) In Area Registrations - this is for patients who live within the practice catchment area and are entitled to access the practices full range of heathcare services including home visits when it is deemed appropriate by a clinician.
2) Out of Area Registration - this is for patients who live outside the practice catchment area and are entitled to access the practices full range of healthcare services excluding home visits as the practice are not contractually obliged to offer this service under any circumstance. The practice can refuse registration for anyone they deem this service is inappropriate for e.g. house bound, elderly or clinically unsuitable patients. If a situation did arise that a home visit was required the patient would be required to call 111 who would give them details of a GP in their postal address area who has signed up to an enhanced contract to provide this service when needed.

Please contact reception who will explain the registering process. A GMS1 Registration form can be printed off by clicking on the link:

After we have received your initial application forms and ideally I.D. you will be added to our practice list within 48-72 hours depending on work load and will be offered an optional appointment with our Healthcare Assistant for a New Patient Health Check. This will include height, weight, blood pressure etc. although this is not essential to your registration.

You have a right to express a preference of practitioner and we will try to ensure (subject to availability) that your preference is met.

Please click on the link below to see if your postal address falls within the Practices catchment area to decide if you would be an out of area registered patient or not:
