Improving Appointment Availability
No matter how many appointments we provide, demand continues to grow. We know that accessing an appointment is important to our patients, and we are working hard both as part of the Rosewood Primary Care Network (PCN) and as an individual GP practice to increase the number of appointments we can offer.
As part of the Rosewood PCN, we currently provide more than 25 additional GP sessions across our five practices, helping patients access the care they need. We also host an ARRS GP within our practice, meaning that in most cases you will be seen here. However, depending on availability, you may occasionally be offered an appointment at another practice within the PCN to ensure you can be seen as soon as possible.
As an individual practice, we are pleased to be welcoming a new salaried GP from October 2026, which will further increase the number of appointments available to our patients.
We also play an important role in training the next generation of GPs. We currently host three GP Registrars, and from August this will increase to six. This additional clinical capacity will help us offer even more appointments while continuing to support high-quality GP training.
