Travel Vaccinations and advice

It is not our policy to provide Covid19 fit to fly airline letters or Covid19 certificates for international travel purposes. If you require proof of Covid19 vaccination status please download the NHS App.

The only Travel Vaccinations/Service which is available on the NHS free of charge are:

  • diphtheria, polio and tetanus (combined booster)
  • typhoid
  • hepatitis A – including when combined with typhoid or hepatitis B
  • cholera

Any additional vaccinations or travel advice you require for example malaria, water hygiene, sun protection, yellow fever will be at a cost to yourself through a private travel clinic. Prior to your appointment our nursing team will research which of the vaccines listed above you require (if any), and during your appointment administer them on the NHS free of charge, but no further services are available from this practice.

Please follow the practice protocol below when wishing to use this service:

  • Give the practice 6 weeks notice
  • If we are not able give you your vaccinations you can contact the private travel clinic. Ask at reception for details.
  • No variation in appointmemts is available and if you do not attend your original appointment it will not be re-scheduled.

Some countries require proof of vaccination (for example, for polio or yellow fever vaccination), which must be documented on an International Certificate of Vaccination or Prophylaxis (ICVP) before you enter or when you leave a country.
